Licence terms
Last updated: 1 November 2026
These terms are between you and Ludovico Rossi, who makes Pebblemorph. By installing Pebblemorph you accept them.
Free trial
For 30 days from the first launch Pebblemorph works with every feature, free of charge. After that it stops converting until you enter a licence code. Your settings, your history and your files stay as they are.
Licences
Yearly: renews every year through Lemon Squeezy until you cancel it. If it is not renewed, Pebblemorph keeps working for 14 days after its end, then stops converting.
Lifetime: a single payment; it never expires and includes updates.
Each licence is for one person, on up to 3 computers at a time, Mac and Windows mixed. You can free a computer from Pebblemorph itself ("Free this computer") and use that slot on another. More computers can be added to an existing licence, up to 10 in total: €5 each, paid once, valid for as long as the licence lasts.
Buying
Pebblemorph is sold by Lemon Squeezy as merchant of record. Its terms for buyers govern the payment and the invoice; these terms govern the use of Pebblemorph.
What is not allowed
Sharing a licence code beyond the computers it covers, reselling or renting licences, or getting around the licence check. Nothing here limits what the law allows you to do anyway, such as studying how a program works where the law permits it.
Open-source components
Pebblemorph contains open-source software such as FFmpeg, x264, LAME, libvpx, dav1d, Pillow and pikepdf, each under its own licence. Those licences, and where to obtain the source code, are in the licenses folder inside the app. These terms do not limit any right those licences give you.
Your files
Pebblemorph is built not to lose files: originals go to the Trash or stay next to the new file, and nothing is overwritten. Keep your own backups all the same: you are responsible for the files you choose to convert.
Warranty and liability
Pebblemorph is provided as is, without guarantees beyond those the law requires. As far as the law allows, liability is limited to the amount you paid in the last 12 months, except in cases of intent or gross negligence. Nothing in these terms limits the rights you have as a consumer under the law of your country.
Law
These terms are governed by Italian law. If you are a consumer, the mandatory rules of your country of residence still protect you.
